A President's Double

Many years ago, a pants presser with a remarkable resemblance to the then President of the United States was recruited by the CIA to train as a stand-in for the chief-of-state if the need should arise. After six months of grueling training the presser sat at a desk in the Pentagon and was never called on to serve.

Twenty years later he discovered that he should have been sitting in the State Department building.

"No wonder they never got in touch with me," he said.

This Blog....

I've had some micro and flash fiction in print, mostly on the web. It seems the shorter it is, the more interest it draws. This blog will be about stories 200 words long, more or less. I'll put some of my micros up for comment, and I hope readers will, too. We'll also have discussions about the craft.
